Expressed Love

Last week Shawn had to work long hours as he was preparing to make a presentation to a client. Several nights we missed him for dinner and Cody and Anna missed having him to tuck them in at bedtime. When Saturday morning rolled around, Anna walked into our room sleepy-eyed but was quickly awakened and quite surprised to find her Daddy in bed that morning! She shouted, “Daddy!” and then scurried up onto the bed to give him a kiss and to say something we have never heard her say on her own before……..”I love you!” It was very clear that Anna missed having her daddy at home. Shawn has such a special place in Anna’s heart and just seeing him brightens her day. Thank you, Shawn, for all you do for our family. You are a wonderful husband and father, and we are so blessed to have you. We love you!
