At bedtime the other night, Anna snuggled her little head right up next to Shawn’s head. She began to take her tiny hand and gently stroke his cheek. Then she said to him in a quiet little voice, “Daddy?” Shawn answered her, and she said to him, “I need you.” It was such a tender moment I wanted to jot down for memory.
