A Child’s Definiton

I want to remember this because it made Shawn and me laugh so hard but am a little uncomfortable posting it as it errs a little on the crude side. It was just too cute…..to us anyway. Okay Anna seemed to be a little constipated for several days, but I wasn’t concerned and never said anything to her about it. So last night it occurred to me that Anna realized on her own that she was constipated (as much as a 2 year old can grasp on that matter). Anyways, let me humor you with her description of what constipation means……..

Sitting on the potty Anna says to me, “I don’t want to go stinky because it will hurt me, hurt me, hurt me, hurt me, hurt me.”

Me: “It will hurt?”

Anna: “Yes, because my stinky is grumpy.”

Me: “It is.”

Anna: “Yes. My stinky will say, ‘Now you won’t get out!” And with an evil, villainous laugh Anna ended, “Ha! Ha! Ha!”

So there you have it………..Who needs Webster’s Dictionary when you can get it straight out of the mouth of a child!
