Only In Your Dreams

Cody told Shawn as they were playing outside together that he had a dream about an orange cat. He went on to tell Shawn about it and mentioned that Mommy was also there with him in the dream. So at dinnertime Cody became somewhat frustrated as he mentioned his dream again and tried to get me to tell Shawn where it was that we saw the cat as he could not remember the name of the place. He seemed a little exasperated when I kept telling him I didn’t know. He insisted, “But you were there, Mommy.”
