I Love It When…

Cody and Anna ask, “Now may I have a Girl Shout cookie, Mama?!”

Cody talks about his Mother’s Day present to me which included some “honeysnuckle” lotion. It’s honeysuckle, but I like the way Cody says it much better!

Cody sees me come in the room with my hair up, and he smiles and says, “You look like you’re married!”

I realize my son is becoming a typical male in regard to gadgets as he always asks me before getting into the car if we can use the GPIS (GPS) just because it’s fun.
Our neighbor comes over to help with a plumbing problem, and he mentions going back home to “get his bag of tricks.” Cody overhears, gets excited, and shouts, “Is he going to t’appear it?!” (disappear it)

Anna sees a castle on television and asks me, “Mama, is that the ball game that Cinderbrella went to?”

I get to escort Anna into a store amidst a group of serious-minded adults and have the joy of listening to her calling out for her imaginary kitty to come with us, “Come on, Fur! Come on, Fur! Meow! Come here!”
