St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Dylan went to his first parade the other day, and it was COLD! He didn’t seem to mind, though. When Cody and Anna saw that the parade line was full of people throwing candy at them they thought waiting outside in cold temperatures was well worth it! Cody learned quickly if he just kept waving people would throw to him. He hardly ever had his hand down. (wink) The policemen coming up the street blared their sirens for all to hear. One of the men saw Anna standing on the side of the road with fingers over her ears from the noise. He said sweetly out the window to her that he would just honk his horn for her. Afterwards we went out for some ice cream, something I had promised Anna earlier in the week when the temperatures were much warmer. She had her heart set on it. It was a great day and a nice first parade for Dylan. His favorite things he received during the parade were his mini-frisbees and the suckers some sweet girls came up and gave to him.
