Anna said to Shawn as we were getting ready for church, “Daddy, I like your gray socks.” Shawn replied, “Thank you, and Mommy has a gray sweater.” Anna, without missing a beat, cheerfully says to Shawn, “and you have grey hair on the sides!” Just another gentle reminder we are all aging.
On our drive home, I can hear Cody in the backseat with Anna, “Anna, I’ve always wished I could have magic powers.”
