Getting Old
Tonight Cody asked me, “Mom, what’s that thing below Grandpa’s nose? Is that a beard?”
Me: “Well, that’s a mustache, but what’s on his chin is a beard.”
Cody: “Oh, well, Indiana Jones’ dad has a mustache, but his was brown and then turned gray. When you get old your hair starts to get gray. I know that.” Cody started to walk off, and I could hear him say, “I don’t want to get old. It’s…weird.”
