Frilly and Miller

A friend asked us to go see a children’s program with them at the library featuring Frilly and Miller. I wasn’t even sure who Frilly and Miller were, but I said “yes.” We had SO MUCH fun! This great couple put on a fantastic performance for the children singing all sorts of fun-style songs and reading high-energy books. The children were given instruments at the end of the show and marched around the room to the song, “Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot!” The best part of it all was the solo Cody did when handed the microphone during the performance. They were singing Jamaican style to a song about a fire/firetruck, something like that. It was a very cute song, and Cody had already positioned himself to the front of the audience and was dancing to the music. The woman, Frilly…or Miller (not sure who was who), handed him the microphone, and he sang out confidently even in a Jamaican accent! I was so impressed, and the woman must have been too because she commented on how great a job he did! I don’t know if I could have been so bold at that age…good job, Cody!
