Hatching Chicks

Three of the chicks at the library have hatched! We went to see them today. Two of the chicks’ feathers were still a little wet, and the last one had beautiful fluffy yellow feathers that looked so soft to the touch. The kids loved seeing them and laughed at how the chicks tried to peck their fingers that were poking through the cage. The chicks were adorable, and I overheard Cody on the phone later with Shawn asking if he could have oone for a pet! Wouldn’t that be fun?!
