Yellow Belt

Yesterday Cody got his yellow belt and certificate at martial arts.  He also got to spar for the first time.  He was new at it, so he told me that he just “kept kicking and kicking!”  Cody was so proud and pleased.  He did such a great job sparring!  These are the “big deal” days in a kid’s heart.  Cody has worked so hard at martial arts and even asked to arrive at practices 15 minutes early just to get in extra practice time.  I think the reward was well worth it!
