School Christmas Party

Today was our school Christmas party. Angie, Lori, and Kristen’s kids were all there, and the kids had a blast. We missed martial arts today because the party ran long. The kids were having too much fun to pack up and leave. We made Santa handprint paintings, decorated North Pole cupcakes, and played a Silver Bells matching game with the preschoolers out of Hershey Kisses and Christmas stickers. The older kids played a memory game with Christmas items. Various Christmas items were placed on a tray and then taken away. They had to write down as many of the items they could remember. Angie couldn’t believe it, but Cody could remember every single item! We also built snowmen and snowgirls out of toilet paper and hats and mittens and paper buttons. This created a ton of laughs, and the kids made it snow toilet paper all over the room when they were finished! We played a Rudolph Dash game outside and ate our cupcakes and hot chocolate outdoors when we were finished playing. What a fun way to welcome Christmas break!
