Celebrate Good Times

Last weekend we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day and Anna’s birthday on the same day.  We started the morning with the St. Patrick’s Day parade.  It was SO COLD, unlike last year where we were wearing short sleeves and flip-flops.  I kept asking Dylan if he wanted to head back to the car, but, through chattering teeth, he kept telling me, “Candy.”  Ha, priorities!  We lasted about 45 minutes and then headed home to celebrate Anna’s birthday.

We also got to enjoy spending time with Grandma and Grandpa over the weekend.  It was cold and rainy, but we found fun things to do inside.  Mom brought some items for the kids to make their first fairy garden. Cody was just as involved, if not more, in the building process of our fairy garden as Anna.  I think that is so fun that he enjoys the design process as well!  They laid it out nicely!

We also colored Easter eggs.  Now if I could only get the kids to eat hard-boiled eggs!

It was a nice weekend together.  I also had to include this photo of Abby feeding her Bear-bear.  She asks me occasionally to put a bib on her bear while she eats.  She decided to feed him this time.  She’s got lots of love for her little bear!  And this group shot of Mom and Dad below with the kids makes me smile…Dylan had just hurt his foot, but when Grandpa told him he would give him a peppermint Dylan was miraculously healed!  Amazing!
