The Miracle Of Life

We knew the robin eggs that Dylan found were about to hatch when we visited the nest on Sunday.  The mama bird would not be scared away.  (Not that we tried.  Trust me, Dylan wanted to, but we left her alone.)  We came back this morning and found 3 of the 4 eggs hatched.  They were so ugly that they were cute.  Anna called them cugly!  Abigail asked me where their eyes were.  Cody got the babies’ attention by making whistling sounds like their mama.  Dylan wants to wrap a worm up in wrapping paper and leave it in their nest as a present.  And Anna, as we were leaving, asked me, “Can we come back Thursday?”  We don’t want to miss a thing.
