They Run Towards Danger

Field trip to the fire safety house today was hands down the most impressive and informative fire safety education field trip I have ever been on.  The video footage they showed seriously could have conjured up some tears in me (But for the sake of those around me I kept it together, ha!)  We learned about fire safety, went over detailed escape plans, practiced in a simulated bedroom, and learned fire extinguisher safety in a simulated kitchen.  Dylan has for years told me he wants to be a fireman.  The fireman who spoke to us today told Dylan in a few years he is welcome to do some ride-alongs with him.  Today was a good glimpse into a fireman’s world for Dylan.
