Masked Monsters and Super Heroes

“Tell me another funny story about you and Dad!  Tell me about the time Dad dragged you through a corn maze!”  Abby asked me this through laughter the other day at lunch, so I recalled to her the time that Shawn and I were dating and Shawn took me to a “haunted” corn maze.  A masked “monster” jumped out unexpectedly at us with a chain saw, taking us off guard and scaring us.  Shawn immediately took off at top speed, adrenaline very high.  The only problem was he was holding my hand when he bolted, so I got knocked down and dragged unknowingly by him some distance in the maze.  The masked “monster” actually ran after us to come help me!  Shawn had no idea what he had done, and we laugh about it to this day!  Well, there’s no haunted corn mazes that we visit now, but this super hero one was pretty cool this year!
