Here We Come a Caroling
The kids made glitter tea light jars and tied Scripture to them. We passed them out to the residents of a local nursing home after we sang a few carols to them. It was so sweet hearing the residents sing along with us. Afterwards, we had our school Christmas party. Cody had us all laughing when he struggled remembering a couple new students’ names during a fun game of mafia. He asked one of the new girls, “What’s your name?” She responded, “Mackenzie.” He began to narrate again, stopping quickly, “Wait! What’s your name again? I’ve forgotten it already.” Ha, there was literally no more than 10 seconds that had passed before the first time he asked and the second time he had to ask her her name! We also began calling Nathan David for the rest of the night because that was the name Cody called him. But, seriously, he comes by it honestly!
