Church Egg Hunt

We volunteered to help our church put on an egg hunt for the community.  There were games, donuts, popcorn, coffee, and prizes.  Cody’s friend asked him if he wanted to participate in the older age group egg hunt with him.  Cody declined, but when he saw the huge loot Dylan and Abigail got during their hunt, he suddenly felt inspired to go on a hunt.  Ha! There were so many eggs!  The sweetest thing from the morning was when a girl who did not go to our church somehow missed the egg hunt, and Anna and two of her friends gave from their baskets and filled this girl’s to the very top.  The girl’s mom was so impressed by their generosity.  Anna told me the mom repeatedly kept saying, “Wow!  Wow!”   So proud of these girls.  There were no adults around telling them what to do.  They saw a need and reached out in love.  Way to go, girls.  You young ladies have beautiful hearts.
