Happy Easter 2013

We had a wonderful Easter!  We took Cody, Anna, and Dylan into the Easter service in “big church” Sunday morning.  I was ready to worship, but Dylan was feeling a little ornery.  We had to have many hushed talks.  His mind was all over the place,  “Mommy, why does Pastor Bob not have any hair?”  But at the close of service it was so sweet to hold him and hear him singing, “Christ is risen from the grave, trampling over death by death.  Come awake.  Come awake.  Come and rise up from the grave!”  It was awesome to look over and see Cody and Anna singing there in the balcony with all the other believers.  That moment was incredible for me.  I also love this year how Dylan grasps the Easter story so much more than ever before.  We have told the story many times this month with the Resurrection eggs, and on Saturday we made the Resurrection rolls.  Easter is one of my absolute favorite holidays!  There is just so much to celebrate, and I love getting to experience it through the eyes of children!
