Little Bit Of Sunshine

I was feeling a little discouraged the other evening. After dinner, while Cody and Anna were eating some “dessert,” I walked out onto the patio to just quietly think for a moment. Somehow thinking always seems so much better under the sun’s comforting rays. I wasn’t out there long when the door opens and out walks Cody. He rushed over to me, took my hands, and told me, “Mommy, I ate my popsicle so I could come out and see you because I *missded* you!” Then he climbed up into my lap so happy just to be with me. Just what I needed. Thank you, Cody.
