Last night Cody got out of bed and came downstairs running a low-grade fever. He was acting fine, but we got him some medicine to help break the fever. This morning when he woke up his fever was gone. However, I became somewhat frightened when I went upstairs later to make his bed. This picture is what I found on his pillowcase! I wondered what on earth his illness was and what in the world did he go through in the night! Did he throw this up??? And what in his body could make such colors?!………..Right, nothing. Then I came back to reality and realized I had put a new shirt on him for bedtime that our neighbor had given him awhile back. I put it on him but failed to wash it first. The shirt…..a bright tie-dyed mix of all the colors in his pillowcase!! I guess when his fever broke it made the colors bleed. He even had some colored stain on his neck today! Phew! Mystery solved!
