Putting It Delicately
Tonight as we were delivering Christmas goodies to our neighbors, Cody saw a festive, fully lit snowman in someone’s yard. He thought it was neat how the snowman repeatedly tipped his hat toward us. The words to “Frosty the Snowman” came to mind, and I began to sing it as we walked. Cody, in his most polite way, said to me, “Mommy, could you not sing that song because it is getting in my head.” I think that is the polite way of saying “getting on my nerves.” (smile)
