2 Weeks Old

Dylan, you turned two weeks old yesterday. You are growing right before our very eyes. No longer are you in those tiny newborn diapers but have graduated to a size 1. The newborn clothes you wore the first week home from the hospital no longer fit your healthy, growing body. Your neck muscles have grown so strong, and you are beginning to focus on Daddy’s and my face so much better now. You respond to our voices and find comfort in them. Cody and Anna love you so much. Anna asks to hold you almost everyday, and she loves to touch your “fuzzy hair.” Cody kisses your head at bedtime and loves when you open your eyes to look at him. Cody came very close to holding you the one day but changed his mind last minute due to his fear……”Will he lick me, Mommy?” You are so loved by so many and are such an “easy baby.” You sleep so well in your bassinet at nighttime, but, truthfully, I crave those tender moments of our afternoon naps with you cuddled up on my chest. Two weeks of your little life…….I cherish every second.
