Recycling Plant

We went on a field trip to the recycling plant several months ago with friends. We all had a fun time and learned a lot. It truly opened my eyes to just how MUCH ends up in our garbage cans…It really is quite ridiculous! Afterwards, a few of us headed to Burger King to grab a bite to eat and let the kids play on the indoor playground there.

My friend Brooke told me the next time I saw her that Anna seemed to catch her son’s attention that day. He is in Cody’s kindergarten class at church. He said as they were leaving in their car, “Mom, Anna looked really pretty today. She had a pretty handband in her hair.” Brooke said something like, “Oh, you thought she looked pretty.” He responded with a grin, “REAL pretty.” (Wink) So cute! I don’t have a picture posted of Preston, but he is such a cute little boy with glasses and spiky hair and an adorable personality!
