Tinkerbell Party

Anna was invited to a birthday party the other week. It was Tinkerbell themed. Anna loved playing on all the fun inflatable bounce houses and slides and the treat bag she got to take home. There were several older girls there at the party, so Anna tried positioning herself around them. She loves being with the older girls right now. Even at the library the other day, a couple of elementary school-age girls saw Anna and gasped. I heard one say, “Oh, Look at her!” I guess she was just the right size for playing house. They mommied her by reading her books, and when a story ended the other girl would say, “I think she wants you to read this book to her now…” Anna eats that sort of treatment up! We had a great evening together at the party, and it was nice getting that one on one time with my little girl!
