Countdown

Cody and Anna love to count down the days until an exciting event. Right now, at this season, they are counting down the days until Christmas. Every morning they tell me how excited that they are now, however many days, away from December 25th. They also count down how many days until visiting grandparents or until going to some fun outing with a best friend. But this morning Anna asked the best question of all, “Mommy, how many more days will it be until we can go to Heaven?” And for a moment I felt like a pin could be heard dropping. Wow, what a question! I love this girl and grateful for her much needed reminder that Heaven is the best destination of all.
