We just got back from seeing the light display at Lady of the Snow in Illinois. Dylan sat in the front seat with me and waved to people outside the car and shouted “Hi” to them, never mind that the windows were rolled! Cody and Anna got to ride a camel for the first time which they thought was pretty neat. And Dylan got to join in on the fun by feeding the animals in the petting zoo some sliced carrots. Anna was shocked when one of the animals, the deer, stole her cup from her and began munching its entire contents. She thought this was so funny. It was a fun family outing. We toppped it off with some cinnamon kettle corn, which Anna and I thought tasted too much like coffee, therefore, leaving the rest of the bag to the boys. I really feel like I should like kettle corn, but it’s just not happening, folks, not this year.
