Fire Pits and Flip-Flops

A couple weeks ago we had some of Anna’s friends over for a bonfire and sleepover.  We found some flip-flops in the dollar bin at Target and bought some discounted ribbons at Michael’s, and the girls made their own fashionable flip-flops.  They did it all on their own!  I sent the girls home with extra ribbon in case they wanted to add more or put some longer ribbons on.  They had a fun time, and I overheard Anna’s friend Avery saying she had eaten four hot dogs during the bonfire!  She said this was her first time at a bonfire, so she was enjoying it to its fullest!  Ha!  Looking forward to more summer days like this!
