Frogs and Fire Hydrants

We have been playing outside a lot lately with the nice weather.  The kids found a frog in the yard the other evening while Shawn was mowing the grass.  Cody wanted to keep it for a pet.

On a funny note, fire fighter Chad happened to come by our house with some other firemen while we were out for recess the other day (He was one of the firefighters at the fire station during our field trip.)  Anyways, they were out checking the fire hydrants, so they put on a water show for my kids.  My guys were thrilled and in awe.  Cody said, “Awesome!”  The firemen talked with them and honked their horns as they left in their fire truck.  How sweet of these guys to do this.  Abby and Dylan stayed in the yard and waved their hearts out until they were gone…so sweet!
