Just Ducky

The duck pond is one of my favorite places to walk to in our neighborhood.  Cody and Anna enjoy riding their bikes there, and we have been going there often these past several weeks.  The ducks have been getting brave and are beginning to come up in the grass where we are sitting to get bread from the kids.  The kids have a favorite duck they call “Whitey Duck.”  If we wait a few minutes we usually end up with around twenty ducks in the water near us.  It is such a simply joy.  We all love going, so much so that the kids reminded me this past week to put bread for the ducks on my grocery list!
