School Christmas Party 2013
Yesterday we had our school Christmas party with friends. It was a pajama party. My children loved getting to wear their pajamas out! Some of the activities from the party included a Christmas photo booth, a candy ball game (which my guys said was their favorite activity from the day), a candy science experiment, a tree relay race, a minute-to-win-it candy cane game, Christmas tree brownie decorating, and so much more. The preschoolers played, Elf, Elf, Santa, jingle bell parachute, and an adorable Pass The Snowman game. Maria made Christmas Play-dough for them using peppermint extract and red and green glitter. I put together a Baby Jesus craft for the preschoolers, and my friend Kym made some adorable wooden snowmen with the school agers. We sang carols, read stories, and feasted on delicious food. We all brought appetizers which is funny because one month ago I asked Dylan what his favorite food was, and he said appetizers! I thought that was a funny thing to come out of a four year old’s mouth! At the end of the day I overheard Cody’s friend Colton saying to him as they were walking together, “This was a really fun day.” I am so glad that they enjoyed it so much! As Cody and Anna’s favorite Disney character says, “Happy Fa-La-La-Lidays!”
