Light Up The Sky

Over the weekend we went to the end of our subdivision and enjoyed all of the festivities that a nearby retirement home had put together for the community.  They had food, children’s activities, pony rides, clowns, fireworks, and so much more!  We visited with friends and neighbors.  When it came time for the fireworks, Abby missed out this year on seeing the beautiful burst of colors.  At the first boom, she covered her ears and buried her head in my chest.  Maybe we will have better luck this Friday on July 4th, we’ll see!
