Soda Shop and Quadricycles

Saturday we stopped in at Little O’s Soda Shop.  It is a cute little ice cream shop on Historic Main Street in St. Charles.  Afterwards, we rented a quadricycle and took a ride around the lake.  Shawn and I laughed as Shawn told me he felt like a gerbil in a wheel trying to pedal one of those.  The kids loved it.  Other children passing by shouted, “Cool bike!” and “Where did you get that?!”  We exchanged words and laughs with another family on their quadricycle and received a thumbs up from someone else.  It was fun and work, and a lot of laughs were had.  I am so thankful Shawn went along with my crazy last-minute plan!
