It’s Your Lucky Day

Yesterday was the Cottleville St. Patrick’s Day parade.  We went and had the best time.  At the start of the parade a man sitting atop a huge float threw a black beaded necklace into the crowd.  It landed on Anna’s head and gently slid down her neck.  Perfect shot!  The crowd cheered, and the man who threw it, I believe, was secretly imagining he was in the NBA!  He looked all sorts of proud!  One of the sweet dental hygienists at Cody’s orthodontics was in the parade and spotted Cody.  She walked over and talked with him and placed a beaded necklace around his neck.  He was so pleased to see her.  Our favorite “float” was the gigantic grocery cart.  That was impressive!  It was such a pleasant morning, and we all left with sunburns, our first of the season.
