Trash Talk

For Lego Robotics this year Cody’s team had to solve a problem regarding trash and recycling.  They chose to solve a problem with waste at construction sites.  Their competition was this past Saturday.  They left there winners!  I was so extremely proud of those kids that day (and everyday).  I also had such admiration for Shawn as he got zero sleep that night trying to solve a programming problem for a couple of the kids.  Now we are to compete again in a few weeks.  Also, the kids were chosen for the innovation award.  If their idea is one of 20 that gets selected, they will be going to Washington D.C.  They are hopeful.  Way to go, Bots!  Sweet victory!
