Operation Sneak Attack

On the evening before Easter the kids had fun scattering plastic eggs filled with candy on the lawns of two families in our neighborhood.  My boys are friends with their boys, and Cody’s friend has been on Cody’s heart to share Christ with him.  They left a big chocolate bunny at their door and a sign that read “You’ve been egged!  Easter is near!  There are 12 eggs hidden in your yard!  Enjoy the hunt, but don’t be discouraged when you find the empty egg.  It is a simple reminder of Jesus’ empty tomb ~ FOR HE IS RISEN!”  It was so fun, hearts racing after ringing the doorbell and trying to sneak away Ninja-style.  I think their friends had a super fun time with the hunt, and I think Cody may have been caught sneaking away from his friend’s house because there was a sweet basket filled with Jumbo eggs and candy on our front step Easter morning!
