Police Blessing Basket

We made a blessing basket for the police officer assigned to us at the station the other morning.  The morning before our field trip, Abigail sat on my bed as we thought about what notes, artwork, and goodies we wanted to give the officer.  After we were done discussing, Abigail sat there as I got myself ready, and then she spoke, “Mommy, life feels happy.”  I want my children to grow up in a world full of kindness.
