And a Young Child Shall Lead Them

Abby came into the room and jumped on the bed and asked me if we could pray together.  I was surprised and responded, “Of course.”  She began praying.  I thought she wanted to pray over her fears which is something I have just recently started doing with her.  She did pray over those at the end, but she started off praying for the people of Guatemala as Guatemala’s Fuego volcano erupted.  I was blown away.  She must have heard Shawn and me talking about this and felt a stirring in her heart to pray over them.  She reminded me that I only talked with Shawn about the news that day and never took these people to God in prayer.  She reminded me of the Scripture that encourages young people, “Let no man despise thy youth.”  I love her heart. Convicted.
