That’s Why We Celebrate

It was a really big deal to Dylan and Abby that Nana and Pap came to watch their basketball games.  Dylan told me he prayed for a win because they were there to watch.  Not only did Dylan’s team win by over 20 points, but he made 4 baskets.  Abby’s team also won, and she made 2 baskets in her game and came close several more times.  As we celebrated with burgers and ice cream after the games, Cody and Anna were having fun at their 3 day/overnight youth event with our church.  They went on scavenger hunts, completed challenges, and spent the one evening playing all sorts of fun games at a huge activity center.  When we picked them up on Sunday Anna choked back tears in the car as she told us that Saturday evening 3 of her friends accepted Christ.  What an amazing, life-changing time in these students’ lives!  Now that’s worth celebrating!!  So happy for these girls!
