Take the Wheels

Abby asked Shawn to take off her training wheels and to help her learn to ride her bike without them.  If you recall, the last time this was attempted Abby ended up bumping into a parked car and breaking her arm.  Shawn stuffed some band-aids and neosporin in his pocket when she wasn’t looking, just in case.  As he began to drive her to the school playground in our neighborhood to practice, it began to rain.  She prayed that God would let the rain stop.  Not only did the rain stop when they arrived, but God sent the brightest rainbow Shawn said he had ever seen!  Shawn took the training wheels off, and Abby didn’t even wait for him.  She just took off on her own, confidently!  It was time, and she was ready.  Great job, Abigail!
