In The Wild

Anna, Avery, and I spent last week pouring into this wild crew of 3rd graders during VBX!  The last day I felt a stirring to share a little snippet of my testimony with the kids.  Anna said to me afterwards, “Wow, Mom, I couldn’t believe how quiet they sat through that!  You could hear a pin drop!”  One sweet girl sat there with her mouth dropped open in complete awe of God!  My goal with them was to make God real to them and to let them know of His ABUNDANT love for them and His amazing plan of salvation for their lives.  He isn’t just a God of the Bible 2,000 years ago, but He is very present in our lives right now and wants us to be part of His bigger story.  I am a firm believer that God wants us to constantly remember the times where we have seen Him at work and to share our story with others.  Even last night as I talked with one of my own children, it was pressed upon my heart to simply share my story, the miraculous, the good, the not so proud moments because God wants to use every part of it for His glory.  Share your story.
