I Found the Perfect Gift

I think I bought my first Christmas present in September. For the first year, we had all the Christmas presents wrapped before Christmas Eve.  We joked that it only took us 15 years with kids to finally be this organized!  It was such a relaxing Christmas Eve.  I was reminded how much parents seek after the perfect gift for each one of their children, and, if we are honest, it can be exhausting.  But God already gave us the very most PERFECT gift in His Son Jesus, and HE passionately sought after US and pursued US and died to take the punishment for our sins because of His great love for us.  It really makes any gift under the tree quite trivial in comparison.  Thank you, God, for sending the absolute most PERFECT gift of all and for your unfathomable love for us!
