Happy Birthday, Dill Pickle
Dylan ran fever for 7 days straight and missed his own birthday party. BUT we ended up being able to celebrate the day before his actual birthday. In typical Missouri fashion, we got a little dusting of snow, and all activities got cancelled, so we decided to go to Kokomo Joe’s that night to celebrate. The place was empty due to the “weather.” We had the whole place to ourselves. We joked that Dylan had his own private party! I asked Dylan a few weeks ago what he would like to do for his birthday, and he said he wanted to play laser tag. BUT he found out he was tall enough now to ride the big go-karts, so that turned out to be his favorite activity! Shawn, and his competitive spirit, caused several crashes that evening on the go-karts! The poor college guy working it must have wanted to kick Shawn off the track, ha! But, seriously, Shawn makes everything more fun, and Dylan LOVED it! I asked him a few weeks ago if he wanted to invite his friends, but he said, “No, I think family is more fun.” Wow, those were some sweet words! Dylan, we think you are a lot of FUN too! Happy eleventh birthday!
