It’s Your Birthday…Let’s Stay In

2020 has taken a bizarre twist.  With the coronavirus hitting our country, restaurants; businesses; churches; and places of entertainment are all shutting down while the nation has been asked to stay home, self-isolate, and avoid gatherings of more than 10 people.  Shawn is working from home now until the ban is lifted which we don’t know when that will be.  Anna’s birthday/slumber party with her friends had to be cancelled/postponed until this craziness blows over.  For a social girl like Anna that was a little disappointing, but we are making the most of it.  I ordered new games off of Amazon, and we are playing those during this “family togetherness” time.  My friend left us some medical masks by the door for a fun little photo shoot to remember Anna’s 14th birthday in isolation!  We think she will find this all very funny (in retrospect)!  Happy 14th birthday, Anna!  I’m so glad that I get to be quarantined with you!
