Love Never Ends

Culture tells us that marriage is a downhill experience.  That love fades over time.  It saddened me when Anna told me that her sweet friend since she was around 2 or 3 years old told her, “I don’t know if I even want to get married.  You just end up getting divorced anyways.”  My heart hurt that that has been her experience.  But I think that it’s important to work our tails off to not allow culture to be right!  I am so grateful that Shawn loves me and his children like Christ commanded him to.  I love that there is joy and laughter in our home!  We had such a fun time celebrating Shawn these past couple weeks, with his birthday, Father’s Day, and our anniversary.  Thank you, Shawn, for loving us so well!  You are showing the next generation what real love looks like.
