She’s Waited 9 Years for This

Abigail turned 9 years old, and her big gift was supposed to be getting her ears pierced.  She has wanted them pierced for so long, and we told her she could get them pierced when she turned 9 and could take care of them.  Well, we never saw this whole coronavirus ordeal hitting us this year and never anticipated that so many retail stores would close down, including all the stores where she could go to get the piercing done.  Poor thing!  Now as things are starting to slowly open up again, Shawn saw that, even though the typical places one would take their daughter to to get their ears pierced were not open, there were some tattoo parlors opening up.  Shawn jokingly stated, “Well, we could take Abby to the tattoo parlor.  I’m sure they also do piercings there!”  Ha!  Happy birthday, Abigail!  We will get those cute ears pierced as soon as we can!
