I Will Sing of The Goodness of God

Ever since December 5th the words to the song “I Will Sing of The Goodness of God” has been running through my head.  I told Shawn what I felt God personally speaking to me that afternoon.  We woke up, went to church, and the words the pastor shared were almost word for word what I told Shawn the evening before.  Love these lyrics. They run true in my life…

I love You, Lord.  For your mercies never fail me.  All my days, I’ve been held in your hands.  From the moment that I wake up, until I lay my head, oh, I will sing of the goodness of God.

And all my life You have been faithful.  And all my life You have been so, so good.  With every breath that I am able, oh, I will sing of the goodness of God.

I love Your voice.  You have led me through the fire.  In the darkest night, You are close like no other.  I’ve known You as a Father.  I’ve known You as a Friend.  And I have lived in the goodness of God.
