Cody got done with school early today, so we headed out to the kids’ favorite playground after lunch. Cody and another boy quickly teamed up and ran all over the place trying new and daring feats together. I kept hearing Cody say, “Awesome, Dude!” I am not sure I have ever heard him say “Dude” so many times, if ever really! The boy’s mother introduced herself to me. It turns out she is a Christian who is passionate and zealous about doing God’s will in her life. Right now she is making CDs and is singing at many Gospel music events. Hearing her share with me how God has spoken to her and worked in her life was so encouraging this afternoon. I love running into people with this kind of drive and who love our Savior. It was a fun afternoon at the park.
