Centennial Farms

We took a field trip to Centennial Farms last week with some friends.  While there the kids all got to pick apples in their orchard.   They also got to go to the packing shed and see how the apples are polished and graded.  They met a beekeeper in her suit and learned how they take care of their bees.  They also got to see what’s inside a beehive.  We ended the tour with some apple butter tasting!  It was some of the best apple butter I’ve ever had.  We bought a small jar when we left, and it is gone already.  The kids love spreading theirs on Ritz crackers.  I think we will be driving back there soon to buy more.  Delicious!
