Attitude of Gratitude
We spent Thanksgiving in Arkansas. The kids loved getting to meet their newest cousin Cael while there. They tried out Nana and Pap’s hot tub in the 40 degree weather. Brrr, they were tough! Uncle Jason taught us how to make his family’s famous pizza, and Grandnana taught Anna how to do a headstand. I think the kids’ favorite memory from the trip (Anna wrote about it in her diary) was the day Aunt Emily and Aunt Elaine took them out in the golf cart. They came to a hill and saw what looked like a field of yellow dandelions. They were actually yellow golf balls. Aunt Elaine told the kids to “Run! Grab them one by one.” They came home with a big bag of golf balls. Anna stated in her diary that she “hit the jackpot!” They didn’t realize, though, until they got back and Pap told them they had just taken (stolen, whatever you want to call it) the golf balls from a driving range! Oops, lesson learned. Happy Thanksgiving!
